Historic Taos Inn
Sunday, June 7 – We ended the day by arriving at another historic hotel, the Taos Inn. After unloading, we went straight to the patio of their Adobe Bar to have one of their “legendary” margaritas.
The Taos Inn is a rockin place. And the street in front of it is quite a crusing place - a constant stream of cars. And yet, the margaritas were legendary. Especially Sandy's, which was called "Fire On The Mountain."
Road Trip 2013 (RT13) marks our 5th road trip in six years. This year: Shenandoah, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Mid-Atlantic Coast. Last year was
the South. We did the Northeast in 2010 and the Southwest 2009. After 2008, we learned to cover fewer miles in order to spend more time in each place. More like a vacation; less like The Amazing Race.
You do know you are living my dream life right now don't you?
ReplyDeleteYou didn't say if the margaritas were legendary.
ReplyDeleteI love the neon signage - classic! what's the rowdy crowd doing on the sidewalk there?
